Interpreting folk melodies collected from different regions of Anatolia with traditional instruments, this duo centers their performances on playful call-and-response songs between women and men. Mustafa is accompanied by the Meydan Sazı and Divan Sazı, while Zelişah performs with instruments such as the doudouk, Dede Sazı, zills, and spoons. Their repertoire also includes uzun hava, bozlak, deyiş, hymns, spiritual songs, and dance tunes.

Through both music and humor, Zelişah and Mustafa, two young musicians based in Istanbul, shed light on the timeless dynamics of male–female relationships in folk songs, showing that while times change, love, flirtation, and emotional expression remain enduring.
