Diaspora Helsinki is a vibrant musical project that brings together artists from diverse cultural backgrounds through the shared language of Turkish and Greek music. Named after the city where most of the musicians met as expatriates, Diaspora Helsinki is a cross-cultural celebration rooted in tradition, shaped by migration, and voiced through a modern musical lens.

The group consists of three Turkish musicians on clarinet, darbuka, and vocals, a Greek violinist, and a Finnish artist. An Uyghur-Turkish guitarist, who contributed to Tasia and Experimental Gayda, also joins the ensemble.
